Mosimane prepared for any eventuality

Bafana Bafana head coach Pitso Mosimane is prepared for any eventuality when the national side faces Sierra Leone in a 2012 African Nations Cup qualifier in Freetown on Sunday.
"I have a Plan B in mind, but I will only be able to make final plans once I have seen the condition of the pitch," he said on Thursday, ahead of the squad's departure for Sierra Leone.
"I will not be making many changes to the side that beat Niger 2-0 in the opening qualifier (in Nelspruit). I hope to play our normal passing game, which is our strength, but I will have to see what the pitch offers when we get to Freetown."
Kick-off is at 6.30pm SA time.
"I will still play two strikers, in fact I will play three if that is what it takes to get a result. I am not going to defend," said Mosimane.
He sounded confident ahead of Bafana's early morning charter flight on Friday to the West African country.
Mosimane will start with his two in-form strikers, Katlego Mphela of Mamelodi Sundowns and Dutch-based Bernard Parker, with Sthembiso Ngcobo and Surprise Moriri in the wings.
The versatile Moriri could also be considered as a replacement on the right of midfield for injured Everton star Steven Pienaar. However, Teko Modise or Reneilwe Letsholonyane are also in the frame.
Mosimane is aware that Sierra Leone are a much better side than the one which defeated Bafana 1-0 in Freetown and which helped deny Bafana a place in the 2010 Afcon finals in Angola.
They sounded a warning after holding Group G favourites and African champions Egypt to a 1-1 draw in their opening qualifier in Cairo last month.
"Sierra Leone have improved since we last played them," said Mosimane.
"They will be a handful. They showed that against Egypt, but they are not Spain.
"Our experience of playing in both the Confederation Cup and the World Cup finals should see us through. "We have also improved, but we need to dig deep and show how much better we are now after the World Cup experience." Mosimane said there was no thought of avenging the 1-0 defeat in June 2008 in Freetown. "That is history. This is a new-look Bafana against a new-looking Sierra Leone. All I can say is we are in good shape and this will be not just the players', but my first real big test as head coach and I am anxious as the new Bafana coach to pass this test and come home top of the group hopefully with six points." Egypt play Niger away in the other Group G match.
