Rita arrives for Super Falcons camp

Super Falcons offensive midfielder, Rita Chikwelu has arrived the Abuja camp of the team ahead of the Africa Women’s Championships in South Africa. She stormed the camp on Thursday evening.
Chikwelu, 22, plays for the Finnish Naisten Liiga club FC United Pietarsaari. She has a fearsome International record which has seen her smash in 15 goals in 30 matches.
Chikwelu participated in the Fifa Under-20 World Cup from 2004-2008 and made her senior national team debut in 2007 at the FIFA women's World Cup. She was a member of the Nigerian Olympic team which participated in the 2008 Summer Olympics in China.
The other foreign based players are expected to hit camp on Monday, October 18, 2010. They include Pepetua Nkwocha (Sunnanå SK, Sweden), Faith Ikidi, Onome Ebi, Sarah Michael (the trio is based in Sweden)Falcons coach, Uche Eucharia is pleased with the development.
“I am satisfied,” she told SuperSport.com.
“The players in camp have shown a totally professional attitude and are giving their best in training. With the final batch of foreign based players coming in on Monday, we will have two solid weeks to hone our tactics before the start of the competition.” she said. Twenty four players are currently in the Abuja camp of the Falcons.
Amongst the 24 are, They include amongst others, Precious Dede, Tochukwu Oluehi, Gife Otuwe, Lauretta Saddoe, Stella Mbachu, Evelyn Nwabuokwu, Edith Eduviere, Akudo Sabi, Ugochi Oparanozie, Felicia Eze, Olumma Jerome, Ebere Orji, and Ogonna Chukwudi.
